I don’t LIKE fishing in 20mph winds, I begin to get frustrated at 30mph, I get a really bad attitude by 40mph……

So when the gusts go to 50mph I’m thinking that it shouldn’t be all too difficult to fly a kite flame flame flame flame

Yeah I agree, besides 50 mph makes me spill to much beer.

If it’s any consolation even my hardcore kiteboarding friends don’t like 50mph.

At 50 MPH if your kite is big enough you could probably fly…

the silver lining is that it’ll push all of the ice off of Winnebago. The north shore will have 20′ piles of ice by the end of the day.

Has anyone ever tied a kite to a fishing pole? Ive done it a time or two for the kids. Unbelievable how high it will go. Kids love it. Today was probably too windy. It rips the plastic grommet out of the kite unless you have the industrial strength one. Dont forget the swivel!

as predicted, there’s some crazy shoves developing on Winnebago. this huge pile up is just off shore just down the street from my house. there are 8′-10′ shoves all along the shoreline, too

Yea just like in the summer when the weatherman says: wind 10 & gust to 15 mph. Usually you might just as well add the 2 numbers together. Wind is usually 25 to 30. mad
