Got these from shore this morning. Ice in the guides but the fish were hitting.

Looks like a Friday Night fish fry to me!

Tom – is the ice off LZ or did you get these in the “Sip”?

Nice bunch of early Craps !

I haven’t been to the lower lake near the dam myself but from other sources the lake is free of ice now.

Nice catch Tom. Have a couple weeks vacation coming up so going to be able to get the boat out. So looking forward to it.

I went back for round two this morning and did ok again. Size was a whole lot better today but the numbers were down some. Plastic color made a huge difference today while yesterday anything with purple and chartreuse caught fish. They were a lot deeper today too, but then we had bright sun right off.

Fresh fish for dinner last night sure hit the spot. I took a handful of crappie fillets to a neighbor for he and his wife to enjoy. They’re both crippled up pretty much and can’t get out to water. I thought the old boy was going to do cartwheels and handstands when he got the package. lol Its fun to share.
