    That changed his mind at the last minute. Since he didn’t lock through afterwords, I’m guessing he didn’t really want to get to pool 4 anyway. Or he didn’t want an earful from the lock operators.

    If he was down here on Pool 14 the water would be coming though the rolling so fast that he would have to be at full throttle. It has been done in the old days. Can’t do it now.

    I’ve see other do it here on L&D #3. The flow is about 50k but the river is much more narrow here then the dams further downstream.

    I already made up my mind that I wasn’t going to risk the life of my grand daughter to help them if something happened. If I could have had the 3 year old climb the lock wall, I would have gone, but there wasn’t any reason for risking her life for something like this. Kinda made me sick thinking about it.
