I haven’t heard a thing yet, but heading up this weekend to open up the camper, so I may no more later.
I guess I’ll buy it….

I can get a crew to fill the bar every weekend if you do!!!!
That would bring back some good memories. I basically grew up at that resort before we bought our place on the point.

Free beer from the new owner?
Great promo!
Not sure I’d count on that.
But if you’re at the Harbor next Saturday, I’ll buy you one…or two?

I think he said that because that is my dad.

Does anyone have a number or know how to contact someone running the Warf? Wife and I are looking for a cite for a wheelhouse this weekend.
Call Hunters point, they are running it right now. 320-676-3227
Just for the record, I have been told they are not letting in any new “campers” until the power is fixed.

They’re fixing the power? I wish the bank would have taken it over sooner!

I know they are, but it’s not a quick fix! I have been dealing with crap power for many many years.
I wish they would have too, about 15 years ago. I am really learning what a total D-bag and crook the old owner was.

I had one run in with the wharf and I came away appalled at how poorly they treated some of their customers. To be honest its music to my ears hearing they went under.
What kinda power issues are we talking about?
I had thought about moving my place to the Wharf years ago …glad I held off.
I wasn’t aware of any crookery as I only imbibed in the bar.
The power to each site is prehistoric and weak. They have to run new to all sites.

Yep, when the Wharf first opened, it was set up to have RV’s along the harbor only. Then sites were added and split to cram more spots in there. Then more along the road and even more in the front lot area. All power just spliced into the original grid. It’s a huge mess. Both electrical and septic.
Rumors about the sale I’m hearing are all over the place! Costs to get the place back up to code are off the charts…. Seem interested buyers are no where near what the bank is holding out for. Something has to give.

is it at $2.5M yet ?
You planning on coming home and buying it when it hits 2.5?

You mean the cost to get it back up to code? Prolly close
Curious what’s the latest with the Wharf? Did it ever sell? Is Hunter’s still running it?
As far as I know, the bank still owns it. Hunter’s is running some houses out of there but it has been very quiet in that corner of the bay. It’s really too bad.. It was a fun place to hang out & their breakfast was great! I hope someone is able to do something with it before it all falls down.
Yep, bank still owns it and Hunter’s is running it again this summer. Be nice if someone would buy it and get some stability for us tenants, but Hunters did a very nice job running it last year, so I can’t complain too much. Summer leases have been sent out for this upcoming year
