Keeping an eye on a potential winter storm fri/sat. Right now it looks like it will drift south mostly into Iowa. The track could shift north and place measurable snow across southern MN and western WI though.

A quick moving system will arrive Friday and rapidly develop along the eastern edge, which lies somewhere near the MN-WI border. The Twin Cities could only see a dusting, in inch, or more if it develops and stays overhead. Areas that lie to the east of that in SE MN and most of WI could see more significant snow. Madison, Milwaukee, and Green Bay may reach totals of 6-8 inches or more.

Beyond that, it looks cold again next week.

Last year we fished on the river by my house in the boat the last week of the walleye season. Dont think thats gonna happen this year since last weekend could barely get through with the auger. This weekend probably wont since I dont have an extension.

Come on Gim you’re slacking. I just heard they underestimated and we are now supposed to get a significant snow tonight what does your magic 8 ball say?

Lol sorry, it’s been a rough week.

I got about 4 inches. More than the 1-3 they predicted. It came right at the worst time during peak Friday afternoon traffic too.

Gonna get bitter cold next week again. Feels like a real winter. Although even with the recent snow, we’re about 16 inches behind.

We got around 3″ of the fluffiest snow known to man tonight.

The kids said it’s like “blowing on a dandelion snow” jester

Tomorrow we’re forecasted for 5-10mph winds with gusts up to 20mph, which means I won’t have to touch a shovel or drop a plow… nature will do the work for me mrgreen

Colder than average here too today and the last couple days. Even had some snow in the mountains. I had to keep a long sleeve on for 9 holes this AM before the wife and kids got out of bed.

…luckily the pool is 81 degrees and the air temps should still be mid 70s again tomorrow. Now if only my golf swing was what it was before kids and marriage

Got 8 inches of some of that dandelion snow and it’s still coming down. Going in to work now. Hopefully god blows it away by the time I get home.

It’s only about 6 degrees out today but the sun is doing some major damage now. Nearly half the snow on my south-facing roof is already gone.

Gonna be cold for most of the week, including a very cold period Monday night into Tuesday in which there could be some school closures.

But…in about a week, we will be turning a MAJOR corner! The forecast about 7 days from now and beyond is showing signs of spring.

My area the snow has been fluffy and pretty dry. Won’t take long at all to melt that.

Couple more days of nasty, then pretty decent for the next week. Almost 50 by Tuesday. I’ll welcome it with open arms.
