The Vikings didnt just lose, they were manhandled by the Packers.

Wow, didnt see that coming at all. Going in I thought the Vikings would win. So did Vegas.

The Packers not only beat them, they threw them around like rag dolls, on both sides of the ball. That game wasn’t even as close as the score.

    Dayum!

    Agreed.
Cook is a bigger part of that offense than anyone thought.
He was hiding a not so great offensive line.

    Packers O still looks sloppy.
    Three turnovers on one half?

Us Vikings fans are used to disappointment. Thinking about that for a bit, I find it somewhat disturbing on some level that I’m still a Vikings fan after nothing but disappointment for over 50 years since I started following the Vikings. When will it be our time?

No doubt, the Thielen and Diggs were manhandled and no flags were thrown. Runs around the end and pass rush GB line manHELD the Vikes and no flags.

I saw two bad teams that need breaks to do anything.

NFL wants playoff game in GB and they got handed two victories vs the Vikes and one vs Detroit. GB looked like the better team last night, but neither team executed, GB tried to lose and the refs weren’t going to let it happen.

    Ha!

Blaming the zebras for that terrible game? How many penalties did the Vikings have? 2?

Why does the NFL “want a playoff game in GB?”

    Take off the tinfoil hat.

The Vikings are who we thought they were ) They didn’t do much with the three first half turnovers and went belly up for a second half shut out. Cousins looked terrible.

Rodgers looked terrible too. He’s missing throws that he’s made in the past with his eyes closed.

The Vikings come up small in virtually every big game. Doesn’t matter who they play in the playoffs, they will lose. Time for Zimmer to go. Just disgraceful

Cousins needs to be fitted with a device that prevents him from running straight back out of the pocket. He needs to learn to go right or left. But then that was known two years ago and nothing has been done. I don’t care what allocades are sung about the dink, he’s not a big game player and as long as he’s around the Purple will be mediocre.

The V’s play calling absolutely sucked. After the first six unsuccessful runs they should have been getting lined up to get the ball to Diggs or Thielen, but then gone to Rudolf or a couple of the other less obvious short pass people. Got all this pass talent and here we sit sucking around with a team who’s defense was geared to shut down the run.

I too saw a couple plays where flags should have flown against the pack but that’s an officials issue. Maybe there needs to be six more officials on the field, two on each side line and two on the field, so seeing these little infractions is easier to do. We have all these officials that walk on water but we have to remember that they answer to the NFL.

The Vikes…..all this talent shackled by a bunch of inept ring leaders. Change is needed starting real high up the ladder first.

Vikings O-Line caved in and would have to be the #1 reason to hang that loss on.
That #55 on GB was a beast and probably the #1 free agent signing
    For this season.
You have to hand it to the Packers they could go on a Run right to the SB if they can keep playing that way, gotta be #1 team in the NFC as it stands today.
And then you have Sally Rodgers pishing all over herself because she was jeered by Vikings fans several seasons ago.
What a wining sniveling classless little Girl.

Agree, neither of those teams looked like playoff teams to me. The Vikings offense being one dimensional makes the Packers defense pretty easy last night. Offensively, it looked like the Packers were having a hard time getting out of their own way. The Vikings, they just didn’t show up.

Disclaimer: I’m not a Vikings fan but at least Cousins didn’t cry like a baby when when Diggs over threw him last night.

That was a Ugly game for sure. Just uglier for the Vikings. Cousins looked once again like the player he was early in the season. He just looked scared right from the start. He simply just isn’t a big game player. Some players have it and some don’t – Cousins doesn’t. Rhodes was his usual self. Every replay showed him getting burned. As far as Zimmer goes – I have never been a Zimmer Fan. If Cousins, Rhodes, and Zimmer are still with this team next season – They will be a average team at best once again. As for Green Bay – they are not going anywhere in the playoffs. They are just not that good.

Maybe not, but the Pack is 12-3 and again division champs. Blaming the refs doesn’t cut it.

Nice handshake by Zimmer at the of game. I’m sure that lower lip is still sticking out this morning. If the Packers aren’t very good where does that put the Vikings?

Enjoy watching both teams while you can. Neither will be around long once they have to play real teams in the playoffs.

If the Packers didn’t turn the ball over three times in the first half the score would have been 45-3 woot

Had it not been for the defence and Jones running ,it was ugly as usual . Somehow they are 12 and 3 ?

And potentially the best team (1st seed) in the NFC lol

I agree, the Packers have had some less than stellar games…..but all the other teams in the NFL have too.

Not a single team in the NFC is pissing excellence

Packers 2019- The Least Suckiest of the Suckiest

I’d crap my pants if they make it to the big game (I don’t think it will happen, but it could with homefield)…… I also didn’t think they had a chance in Minnesota last night either

This is why I love/hate Packer fans, consistently yet completely detached from reality.

Unless you really believed the Pack were going to lose to Detroit, this game was completely meaningless and it showed. Thielen, Cooks, Mattison and linebackers all rested. I would expect them to rest again this week and the Bears might win by 20, another meaningless game.

Ya know, there’s a lot of truth to that.
Other than divisional rivalry, it was just that. Meaningless.
Is there anything to gain by beating the Bears next week, No.

The offense still sucked, don’t get me wrong but it could have attributed to the lack of enthusiasm!

Cant say I’m surprised. Between these two teams we just dont know who is going to show up. Well with the Vikes track record in late season we should know better.

With the injuries that occurred last night, the Vikings need to worry about getting healthy for what is likely going to be a road game at New Orleans on wild card weekend. The offensive line was atrocious. The run game was poor. Cousins looked poor too but he had virtually no time to make a play with Zadarious in his face all game. I don’t think the Packers are as good as the Niners or Saints, but certainly they are the best team in this division.

Pot/kettle/black much? This coming from a guy who blamed last night’s debacle on officiating? bawling woot

Vikes fans before game: SKOL VIKES, division championship here we come!

Vikes fans after game: we weren’t even trying, meaningless game, NFL conspiracy to have playoffs at lambeau, Erin Rodgers, etc, etc.

Put down the purple crack pipe and have a Merry Christmas y’all.

Ps thielen wasn’t rested, but I’ll give you a pass if you missed his three glorious catches and one stunning jet sweep.

It wasn’t meaningless for the Vikings, they HAD the potential to jump up to the second seed (you know, homefield advantage and stuff….)

But they didn’t. They fell flat on their face at home against a mediocre road team.

It was a beautiful and classic purple collapse.
