Would someone be willing to let our group borrow an auger if we needed it? Pretty please. Paul’s outfit is going to cover the holes in our perm shack but we’ll need a couple of extra’s for camera’s and such. Not sure if he’s going to have one floating around for us, and I’d prefer not to bring a hand auger if I can help it.

Food-I’m bringing a couple quarts of homemade pickle spears and a bag of chips or something to pass.

Is it me, or is this week going really slow?

a little detour off the main drag but this is a good shop: https://www.facebook.com/stevensonpier

I’m sure there are others but this is where I stop when I fish the Little Sturgeon Bay area.

There is a bait shop at the shell station just before Bayshore park, in Dykesville at the gas station and one just as you come into Sturgeon Bay, Howie’s Tackle.
I would would start at the Shell station.
You don’t know what you might find up the road.
For live bait I would get lake shines and fatheads.
I only take waxes and spikes out for whitefish and catch burbot on them.
Haven’t caught or seen one yet this year. Should be seeing more now.

Time is crawling this week, too busy at work.
Got ATC running, somewhat. Need to make some adjustments.

Tom, I gotta work till noon and then come home and pack the last few things in the truck and be on my way. I probably won’t get up there till 5-6 so not gonna have much time to fish before it’s dark. Once I get there I gotta get stuff set up for the “Ice Camping” adventure. Sounds like it’s gonna get down right cold tomorrow nite. Here is my number if anyone needs it. 608-434-0978. Can’t wait to catch some fish!! woot

Right now I’m still looking at 6am for the first group… 1/2/hr per group increment after that….the shack guys after that…
As far as the shack guys go,Paul said the shacks will be on 2 reefs about 1 mile apart so if some of the others want to split up we can do that…
I will call him around noon today to get the final info and post more then….
I will probably not be there until a little after 7am to give my SIL a little more sleep time (he will not be getting to GB until 10 Friday night)

Is there a maximum number per group if I am supplying my own transportation and gear? Or just show up and follow along? My son and I will probably be there about 7AM also. Is it still OK to travel by atv?
