    Twice over the weekend the MN was doing its usual purging of ice and crud at the confluence. Heard that its supposed to rise pretty good. Thought 4′.

    SORRY TO SAY. THE RIVER DOES NOT FLUSH HERE FOR SURE.! THE HIGHER THE WATER IS AN HOW LONG IT STAYS THAT WAY. JUST BRINGS IN TONS AN TONS OF NEW SEDIMET.!! … ON THE OTHER HAND THE HIGHER THE WATER IS AN THE LONGER IT STAYS THAT WAY. ALMOST ALWAYS THAT WILL MAKE FOR A VERY GOOD WALLEYE SPAWN, IF THE WATER STAYS WARM E-NUFF. . . rrr

    I’d love to see the river not only rise, but stay up through the middle or end of May.

    9-10’ (based on the Lake City gauge) is a “sweet spot” for the lower part of P4 too.
