The Start of the 2016 Navagational Season this Weekend!

    First 2 tows will lock thru Lock 9 today, heading to St Paul.

    They should arrive at #3 Red Wing late Saturday / early Sunday.

    I hope someone gets a photo of the beginning of the 2016 navigational season!

    Fishermen will like the water becoming more cloudy too.

    I’m pretty sure at least part of Pepin will have to be force opened.

    I haven’t looked lately but Sunday or Monday there was 17″ in places on Pepin.

    the st Croix is opening nicely. early as I can remember in the 15 years I have lived there.
