The places that do warranty work mostly do warranty work!

When I started in the business… 70% of the work was Warranty work and 30% retail. That has now flipped to 30% Warranty and 70% retail. Initial quality has improved tremendously in 23 years.
My mechanic and his son who is taking over the business said to me, independently, whatever you get, don’t get a RAM!! They say the parts are cheap and quality is bad. They currently have a mechanic that worked at a Dodge dealership for ~7 years and all he did was warranty work.
That’s pretty common that a certain mechanic is the warranty specialist. He also gets paid less.
For the abuse my rams take, I wouldn’t trade them in for anything else. I’ve pushed them to their limits many many times.
Ask big crappie about the driveway rip out I did for him and the dump trailer I pulled with mine. She deserved to squat that day.
For some reason my truck didn’t come with stickers. What a shame.
I see more hideous stickers on both Ford and chevy so every one knows they were built for tough, fx4 that’s half the back box. And the god awful ugly chevy decals.
I actually just spoke with the Apple Valley ford guy and “might” be [placing an order.
The only reason for that is the Ram HD’s currently have Jack Squat for options due to the existing inventory of 24’s they still have.
What is this High Input engine Ford has?
yes or no? Thoughts.
and KR or Limited?
I want my next GF to ride around in style.
I wont bash Ram for this because I think it could be useful, but that funky tailgate that swings to the side would be handy. I have never used one or know if they are full of problems (probably), but I would probably use that unlike the multi-flex I have on my GMC.
Can someone explain the benefit of the 60/40 split on the RAM tailgate? It seems more complicated than necessary? The ridgeline tailgate also swings open but is only hinged on the left side so the entire tailgate swings. I use that all the time.
“If your tailgate swings weird ways, so do you” …is what I’ve always been told

I think the 2 Dads have one.
Wait, you guys were getting stickers!?!?!
We can all agree the IDO crew loves stickers. The more the merrier I say!

Completely agree. It’s natural when your raised with 2 dad’s.

If your last leg to stand on in the fight against Ram are the stickers and emblems I’ll grab you a chair.
The best part is walleyesforme talking up his Ridgeline swinging tailgate on a “truck” that doesn’t even have a frame
Guess it makes it even easier to get the groceries and cat litter into the 4′ “box”. His real favorite part is now he doesn’t have to risk his skirt blowing up while unnecessarily hopping into the back
Isn’t it a sheep?
Nobody accused him of being smart. He didn’t make the connection with the name, thought it was an acronym because it’s all capitalized

To be fair Grouse tows his skid steer with an envoy so idk if that is as big of a flex as you think LOL

Hey now its a 63” bed
Finny – what are you getting for milage? As advertised? I’m considering one for the next truck, and have heard/read varying degrees of satisfaction with the milage. Both as to what they claim they get, and once you start towing…
I don’t really track it. That’s not why I bought the truck and don’t care that much. I watched it closer when I got it and it definitely isn’t close to what is advertised. Couple miles lower.
My neighbor bought the same truck and he brings up the mileage every time we talk trucks.
…but most importantly, what does your boyfriend think of your Tundra?
sorry, I had to
First time I’ve heard that one. Is that a running joke kinda like Subaru’s and lezbo’s?

So it’s an ultra-short-box??
Real beds are measured in feet
Since EPG brought it up I asked ChatGPT about trucks. This should help people decide whether it’s smart or full of poop lol
I also found the sticker confusion, it’s the owners adding them!

Sub ran a very targeted campaign
