I have one in my ranger. I use it but not sure how well it helps. I do notice the little bubbles but I’m always pumping in new water. Probably not worth the extra.

I considered the oxygenator. Long story short last year fellow anglers with 20#’s in the livewell, an oxygenator and constant recirculation pump on in a bass boat could not keep the bass alive. They told me that the oxygenator did not seem to help in their years of fishing. (3-4 with oxygenator??) I have had decent luck with recirc and G-juice livewell additive and 10# of BLOCK ice for 8 hour tournaments. I also think livewell capacity makes a big difference, but with most boats it is what it is. Overall I will not be adding one.

I gave mine away to Calvin S. Couldn’t keep my bullheads alive and I think that says something.

PS if your thinking of using it for a bait tank, make sure the bait shop does NOT put salt in their water. The current going through the metal plates turns the salt into chorine. Dead Bait.
