I was reading the other topic and thought of this question.
What type of sinker gets used. I started using wig it style of sinkers. seen them fishing at low and liked them.
I tried to get a picture of them but no luck.

I use the Lindy no snag sinkers. I really like them. I used to use the walking style sinker. No issues with them but switched and never went back.

Rigging is finesse and stealth imo, if it’s anything else there are far better ways to present live bait. I prefer as small a presentation as I’m allowed by weather conditions and depth. No bead, no big swivels or other components on the weights, no colors. There’s a case to be made on style of sinker being less prone to snagging but the original walking sinker is hard to beat in almost all conditions except weeds where I prefer a bullet.

I like walking style weights otherwise I run bullet weights.

it depends! Are you fishing rocky bottom, sand, weeds, current, each has its place IMO

I have a mold for the walking weights. its great to have in between weights that the stores do not sell. 5/16 tends to be the one I use most
