    Zander.

    Snook.

    In that order.

One of those is a lot more accessible than you probably realize.

Until all the neighboring states and provinces shut it down. But sounds like they’ve recently migrated to the adjacent lake and actually established a fishable population. Basically the exact scenario why the ND GFP stocking was shut down. applause

I caught 17 saltwater fish last Jan. – Feb. that I’ve never caught before. Sea Trout, sheepshead, pompano, permit, jack cravelle, sand trout, black drum, black grouper, lady needle lizard cat pin and toadfish, mangrove snapper. And this critter, a remora. I’ve seen them on sharks while scuba diving. But never over about 8” long. This guy was a little over 24. Guess they get 10”longer than that. But the red fish eluded me. So that’s on my list for next year. Also waiting on a muskie.

I like to catch any fish as long as it is bigger than Iowaboy1’s. But I have done that and it makes for a long f day. But seriously I would love to catch a muskie.
