With Skeeter discontinuing the WX 2000T what does that do to the value of those who have one? Will people be brand loyal and look for them or will they look for any Brand 20′ tiller?

    Thoughts?

I really don’t think it will be of any negative impact. The value of a used boat is still driven by supply & demand. Not many used Skeeter tillers listed as of late.

Condition of a well taken care of used boat and pride of ownership impacts value the most regardless of the brand in my opinion.

As a tiller fan, I hate seeing any tiller model discontinued. I think Skeeter had an uphill battle to even make tiller guys aware that Skeeter had one. I think most tiller guys just go with aluminum since most people going fiberglass are big water guys who want the protection of a windshield boat. And the remaining few who do go out on big water in a tiller go with Warrior.

But it does seem like after I Pilot came out, many of the remaining tiller holdouts went over to windshield.

Bimini’s are stupid expensive although they do have their purpose. Still working on it Nick. The question is will I come up with a workable design before selling the boat? jester
