The real masters are the ones that figured out how great the bass fishing is in some of those ponds!

Years ago there were many golf pros that were fisherman and would hit the course ponds after a round. Nice, because most courses didn’t allow fishing in the ponds (probably due to liability as much as snootery). Don’t know about the newer country club raised golfers on the tour now days.

Tiger off to a Great start. He should be 2 under after 7 holes. He had a mid-range put lip out. Its great to see him back out there and playing well. Now rather or not his body will hold up for all 4 days is the big ?

Wow. Tiger went from should of having a birdie to scoring a bogey on the 8th hole. Fun to see him playing anyway.

I typically hate all the streaming stuff these days. But have to admit it’s kinda cool to watch select groups on ESPN+

No prob! I had no idea either. Was sitting there watch the Golf channel with not much real coverage thinking this is pretty lame. Glad I did some searching and found it!

Back as kids we sneaked in and night fished them. No clue about golfing, but dang we caught some big bass

Pretty impressed with Tiger so far. He is playing much more solid than I thought he would. Spending all that time in the rehab gym did him well. He looks absolutely jacked!

Hoping Cam Smith can go wire to wire. Put some money on him last week.

Does anyone know, is Tiger not in a ‘featured group’ today on ESPN+ ?

Doesn’t look like it at least I can’t find it. Just 1 featured group then amen corner and 2 others.

He doesn’t tee off till 12:41 and I’m sure they will feature him. Some guy yesterday said they all could gold naked and no one would notice because of Tiger. Not sure who it was.

Tiger not off to a great start today two bogies in the first 2 holes. The wind conditions are making thing tough for everyone. Don’t think we will see a lot of low scores posted today. My guess is the cut line to make the weekend will be in the 4 or 5 over range

Justin Thomas is off to a nice start in Round 2 being -2 through 4 holes. Unfortunately he dug himself a hole shooting a lackluster 76 his first round. Either way with the scores coming in, he can still be a factor for sure.

As the saying goes: “Death, Taxes, and Jordan Spieth being swallowed by Hole #12 at Augusta”

It’s been fun to watch since I happen to be watching when a guy got a hole in one! Apparently that doesn’t happen very often! Like my dad said, it’s nice to see the green grass and sun, and hear those birds chirping. I also enjoy listening to the commentators – they’re so calm and its kinda relaxing. I might try my hand at golf this summer and see how much harder it is than those pros make it look. smirk

The hole in one thing cracks me up.
A hole in one happens about 1 in 3,000 shots, but 100% of the time you hear the clowns screaming “GET IN THE HOLE”. ROFLMAO

Tiger had a rough start but finished fairly strong. Making the cut and still has a chance. Lots of guys struggled today. Hoping the winds lay down so we get some better scoring.

Did I just see ground wires on two pine trees on hole 12? Sure looked like copper wires running up the trunk. Losing one of thoughs big pines would change the hole. Love to see these guys spray it around and three putt.

I didn’t see it. But looks like Scheffler has it in cruise control.
