This old Iowa farm boy has been humbled beyond humbled lately and I dont know yet what to think.
As many of you know I opened my business the first week of Dec. last year, the worst time ever to open a repair shop in a small town but I went into it with a giant leap of faith and being the worlds biggest optimist I did it anyway.
I have been adding tools as needed that I didnt already have and spending every cent of profit on inventory and keeping the bills paid at work and home,I am truly blessed especially seeing as how enough has been provided every day to keep going, then this happened.
An anonymous gift from a fellow IDO member showed up at my door one day saying I needed a sign on the building, something I didnt have yet but was planning for down the road.
I have been running purely on reputation and it helped a lot that the community already knew me from when I worked out of that same building several years ago.
To whoever you are, thank you !! may you be blessed many times over for thinking so much of me even though we have never met.
this sign will go up next week,it was designed by a gal and long time friend from the community who wanted to help out,she even designed my business cards,Joanie, thank you for your talent!!
the sign is being built by sign pro in Newton Iowa not far from my shop, the owner has been working directly with Joanie to bring it to what it is,I love it !!
Now,if we can get past this virus crap and I can afford to pay Denny O to come down to redo the shades, paint the office, the buildings front, and restroom !!
May all of you here be blessed as much as I have!!
The magic of a gift,,,,,,I am too old to believe in Santa Clause,,but I do believe the Good Lord works in mysterious ways.
