What would the IDO Hunting members think about getting together for a happy hour (and then some) in January to celebrate the season past and seasons to come?
I realize we’re not all in one place, so if multiple locations make sense, that’s great too.
I thought it would be fun to get together in person, meet in the 3 dimensional world, share some stories, and so on.
What do you think? A Friday or Saturday in January?

Well, I mean this will be a gathering of the top of the hunting social hierarchy. The most refined of the breed, so to speak.
So the East Side was the natural first choice for location…

DATE: Let’s go with Friday, January 20 from 5:00 to whenever.
LOCATION: Since the East side of St. Paul IS the epicenter of the known universe, it only makes sense to have it there.
Anyone want to throw out a location that has a big bar area where we won’t have to fight for tables and space?

Sounds good to me. It doesn’t get to -25 F in LA, and there’s an ocean. I fail to see the downside.
How about Jersey’s Bar in Grill on Concord Avenue in Inver Grove Heights? My husband’s cousin owns the bar and would surely set us up with a table. They have great food there too.
What about that other bar just down the street. Don’t remember the name though….

Unfortunately, DT I must report that Sticker has been involved in a hunting incident. He was found with his butt frozen to his metal treestand this weekend. He was delusional at the time. He must have been delusional. No sane individual would have been up in a tree stand…
First responders had to make the terrible choice of either pouring hot water on his nether regions (!), or the infamous “band-aid off fast” method of–erm–separating him from the stand. They chose the latter. Unfortunately, some flesh was left behind (!!!). No pun intended with the use of “behind”.
He will be joining us for the event. He’ll be the one standing the whole time.

Crap now I can’t come up for it if Deer Tracker is working, I’d get hauled in even for 1 drink!
