I will have to check it out, I listen to there podcast while at work or commuting but never watched their channel.
basseyesPosts: 2509September 19, 2018 at 10:12 am #1798365Just started watching them earlier this summer. Very different style of hunting how much they push a bucks bedroom. Fun to watch and seem like fairly average guys without piles of cash to throw at guides. Milkweed and checking the wind constantly is a great pulpit they preach off of.
ClownColorInactiveThe Back 40Posts: 1955September 19, 2018 at 10:45 am #1798367Thanks for the info.
I’ve only and always hunted public and have consistently shot some nice bucks. The thing I see year after year after year is guys hunting the same stand location. SCOUT AND MOVE! There are some big ‘ol bucks out there you just have to find them.
I’m gonna watch these guys and see what they do.
September 19, 2018 at 2:52 pm #1798423They put out some good shows with lots of information. Most of them were part of the Midwest Whitetail group then broke off early this year and started doing their own thing. Chasing November is a good series to watch every year but these guys are constantly putting something out.
September 20, 2018 at 10:34 am #1798613Terrific show. Got totally hooked last night and stayed up too late!

Actually, they left late summer last year from Midwest Whitetail. That really put a hurting on Midwest Whitetail last season without having the public land guys content. THP’s fist video was October 5, 2017.
November 7, 2018 at 7:31 am #1808213If you haven’t been following these videos you are missing out big time. These guys are having a great season.
November 7, 2018 at 8:35 am #1808229Yeah they really have so far! Fun to watch some old friends succeed. They have created quite a following in a pretty short amount of time!
November 7, 2018 at 8:37 am #1808230I just started watching these guys too and love it! I used to bow hunt in high school but ended up selling the bow before college because I knew fishing would take priority not having time for both. well now that I have time I know for a fact im going all out next year for bow season on public land in Minnesota. The hang and hunt way is for sure going to be the way I will hunt not having access to private land. The Mapping whitetail series has taught me way more than I ever knew! Cant wait to Learn as much as possible from those guys!
November 7, 2018 at 8:40 am #1808231Really a great show. I’ve been watching every chance I get.
Don’t be posting any spoilers here, though. I’m only on about episode 9 or something.

I have seen your mug on some of the old Midwest Whitetail videos, figured you knew some of those guys.
November 7, 2018 at 10:09 am #1808257I do vaguely remember missing a giant on public land during my stint there. I think it was a dream though – never happened.
January 29, 2020 at 6:54 am #1910709Reviving an old thread here. But on top of these guys does anyone watch the Whitetail Habitat Solutions videos? Seems like jeff really knows his stuff and really has a cool strategy for deer. I believe he was there for the Michigan public challenge last season too with the Hunting public.
January 29, 2020 at 7:21 am #1910718The Hunting public boys will be at the MN Deer and Turkey show this March. Going to be a good show.

ClownColorInactiveThe Back 40Posts: 1955January 30, 2020 at 10:56 am #1911182I love their shows! And I love the fact they don’t constantly endorse products…it’s not part of the programming.
December 4, 2020 at 9:02 am #1993981Just wanted to bump up this thread, as this may be their best season yet. And the latest one with Jake on Wisconsin opener was great, showed what an awesome tradition Opener can be and 3 nice bucks in under an hour never hurts!

Again for the latest Sturgeon spearing episode, almost like their group traditions shows better than their solo shows…almost!
hartridgePosts: 74February 25, 2021 at 4:53 pm #2017922Totally agree with Jake’s show on the Wisconsin deer opener. Brought back a lot of memories of days gone by. Turkey hunting videos should start soon.
November 18, 2021 at 1:36 pm #2074700THP guys have been having a tough season, but this video was awesome! Having been lucky enough to have a similar hunt the last couple years, I can tell you getting in bow range from the ground on a mature buck sure makes stand hunting seem boring.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22718November 18, 2021 at 2:01 pm #2074714I have heard of those guys before but never watched any of their stuff. That was an exhilarating video! The buck couldnt have even seen him looking up at that sun like that. Couldnt have worked out better for them.

I love their stuff, and is really the only hunting show I watch regularly. Last season was pretty epic, and they have a lot of great ground hunting videos that I have learned a ton from.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22718November 18, 2021 at 9:03 pm #2074833Pretty sweet guys! So many of these types of shows are all about sponsors but this one doesnt appear so. Will have to look at more of their stuff. Man that last video was awesome.
November 19, 2021 at 7:22 am #2074869THP and Whitetail Adrenaline are the best of the best! Awesome content, exciting and educational! the Adrenaline guys are finally going to start putting out digital media in addition to their DVD’s. Gotta spend some money to watch but it’s well worth it.
November 19, 2021 at 9:57 am #2074923So many of these types of shows are all about sponsors but this one doesnt appear so
They have a podcast as well, and on one episode they basically did the entire show on how they came about and what their philosophies are on sponsorships and things like that. They talked about using a certain bow, but maybe a different brand release, while wearing a different company’s hat, etc. and they didn’t really want to be tied down like that. I’m not one to criticize people sticking with sponsors or conducting any of their business like that. If someone told me to eat and talk about Johnsonville Brats occasionally at my job for money, I’d probably do it too, but interesting to hear their take. They also get a lot of questions about doing an actual TV show and they talked about that too, some of the logistical challenges and some eye opening (at least to me) info about how much it would cost them just to get on TV.
