The End Is Near (in Southern WI)

    With today being the first of many days in the 40s (and some spots in the 50’s), the end of ice fishing in the southern half of WI is near. My guess is that from south of WI Dells shorelines will be shot by or after next weekend.

    I will get on ice next weekend but that might be it without having to drive 2hrs north. Looking back at the season, It was a great first half of the season, 2nd half not so much. Hopefully the end will turn on for panfish

    Does the shoreline always recede before the icesheet becomes sketchy?

    My first year late ice here, been good, noticed drilling last night the shavings almost seemed a lil wet compared to last week but had 3″ standing water too so maybe it was mixing ?

    yep…….heading to Costco to load up on masks, canned goods and TP!!!
