I’m really glad its cold and rainy today.

Straight out of the Spin Doctor’s Guide to PR. If you’re going to make a public announcement that could trigger protests, time the news conference for the worst weather possible.

    Well played.

BLM picked the wrong case to push their cause. No charges and these cops should probably get an medal for outstanding service!

    -J.

That’s the thing with them. There have been a couple situations they could have attached themselves to and they would totally be in the right. They just choose the wrong ones over and over that they should be given no credibility.

12 of 20 witness’ say he was handcuffed when shot… DNA evidence says, “he was in no way shape or form handcuffed” means 12 people either cannot see correctly or are lying. How do you get around that ? 12 Eye witness’ are obviously worthless to any case.

…and the 12 that said he was handcuffed some said one of his wrists was cuffed, some said Jamar was cuffed behind his back and some said he was cuffed in front of his chest. If you’re going to lie make sure and get your stories straight…

With some saying front, some saying back and some saying one hand I lean toward lying.

I say when people really start to think about it all (evidence and put feelings aside)… the storm withers to a few rain drops. Yeah, there will always be the agitators, that’s how they are trying to make a living.

And there is what all these protests are about, the feelings of distrust towards PDs nationally won’t allow a mere thing as evidence to stand in their way. BC as history has shown, evidence can be skewed, or covered.

I wouldn’t want the job. People need to realize, when police say something, comply. They are not out there playing games, people don’t listen and people die. How hard is that to comprehend ? There are millions of Police and are there some corrupt ones… absolutely, like any job has them. To have 12 people with such conflicting accounts, we need to look at DNA evidence, pretty hard to discount that… someone with cuffs on that was resisting, which nobody can dispute, certainly would have evidence, the cuffs are not designed to coddle your wrist… they are designed to discourage movement. Wish everyone seen this video

I’d say the % of people who have a distrust against the PD’s is EXTREAMLY low. Then again most people don’t have a reason to have a problem with the police. Obey the laws and follow directions from police officers if asked, and most people will never have a problem. History has shown people to be struck by lightening and winning the lottery as well but it is rather rare and will not effect most people at all.

Good video big g … and they didn’t show the obvious scenario where a suspect is reaching for the policeman’s gun. Different sides to stories, but that may have played a role in both the Ferguson and Clark situations.

I have my gripes on journalism and news in general, now you post that video G, aghhh!

Curious to feel how well you would do in open heart surgery tomorrow, as the surgeon.

Or maybe go fly an airplane, in a thunderstorm.

Taking an inexperienced untrained civilian and subjecting them to situations like those aren’t educational, they’re humor at best.

“if the city burns, it’s on you.”

If there is even a campfire in town she should be arrested for inciting unrest. What a moron. flame

Do people jump to conclusions, subjectively observe or protest doctors and pilots?

I’m an hcmc paramedic and I am happy with everyone’s support on IDO. I feel strongly like everyone else does on this subject. I’m going to restrain myself from sharing my personal opinion, but I believe the right decision was made today. Now I have to put on my bullet proof vest and go give medical attention to all lives that matter. BTW would anyone like to work for me tonight?

Jeff, stay safe. Good friend of mine is retired from Mpls. fire department. He mentioned to me 10 years ago that there were parts of Mpls. the fire dept. wasn’t allowed out of the trucks without the cops being present. Thats just plain crazy. NOBODY should have to put their life on the line to help others in this country.

I’ll say a silent prayer for the cops, fireman, EMT’s and all others who have to respond tonight to help others.

Ok so watching the news they keep showing a person burning the American flag!!

Shouldn’t that person be arrested for that crime? This sure makes me mad. The protesters don’t even seem to know what they are protesting

Can someone explain how this can be done with no repercussions.

I found a Supreme Court decision in 1990 that explains its freedom of speech

    Well got my answer.

Flag burning is not illegal no matter how much it is frowned upon.

The US Supreme Court decided the First Amendment to the Constitution says it’s unconstitutional for a government (whether federal, state or town) to prohibit the desecration of a flag, because it’s seen as “symbolic speech.” While burning a flag is actually an action, a non-verbal act makes a similar statement.

On a different but similar note, my 70+ year old Disabled American Veteran Father had a tee shirt with a flag on the chest.

    It said in bold letters…

    “Try Burning This Flag”.

Glad you can find humor in someone/anyone being rushed by another person, who is planning on doing them harm. Truthfully, sometimes I picture you sitting in your basement with a big old bong going, typing away. Reality has no business in your world. Put that guy through the police academy and guarantee you the outcome is very similar. You only prove the point with your surgeon and pilot scenarios, the job is not as easy as all the armchair critics like to think…. have at it.
