    The falling temps have the slabs getting hungry. Today was coolish at 33. The bite was slow to get going but picked up and we landed 70. Biggest being 15. Fog was very intense at launch time. I downed size to a Pug Bug and small grub. That was the key. Did I say That. All released.

    Nice… when you fish that smaller jig, do you do it under a float, or casting and counting down?

    That sounds like a great day and those are dandy crappies! Vertical jigging them on a graph is a blast on soft water, I often will even put the Lx5 in the boat when I’m chasing schools of crappies in the fall.
