Love the craftsmanship! If I lived on the lake it would be a great cruiser for the evening boat rides!

But Jesse “the body” Ventura fished out of it….That should double the price right there! But it is a neat looking boat.

You see the detail in the inside? looks like weeds and a nice size fish up front. This is a sweet boat.

In my mind, nothing will ever top the ad I a saw for a 6.6 HP Mercury outboard.

And the next ad posted was the infamamous “To the Guy” ad.

To the Guy with the 6.6 HP Mercury for sale: It’s a 9.9, you dumb@ss. You’re looking at it upside down.

And he was. I wish I had kept a screen grab.

Here’s a stainless steel hulled putt putt option. It appears to be manufactured for sale through Sears.

To me there is nothing prettier then a nicely finished mahogany wood boat.

That is a sweet looking boat! Seems like a very low price considering the immense amount of work that was done to restore it. There are a lot of worse boats on CL for that price.

The “before” and “after” photos are staggering, but 1600 hours may be an exaggeration by the seller. That’s 200 full 8-hour days of work. The asking price recoups him $5/hour for that labor, if true. jester

I also doubt the claim of pulling 7 skiers, unless they were all under 30 lbs. jester

Who knows, this may be his hobby to stay in the garage and away from the wife. He might need to sell it to bring home the next project. What a beautiful boat.

200 days of work of that isn’t hard to comprehend at all for the boat and motor. That’s alot of work. Probably took full month just trying to find parts for the Merc

That teak with maple inlays is freakin awesome, something I wish I could afford to do with my boat floor, but just one sheet of that is few hundred bucks easy.
