The big day is almost here

    Tomorrow is the opening of archery season here in MN. yay yay yay
    Who’s going to be in the tree tomorrow morning? I am headed to the farm tonight with my son and we will be anxiously waiting tomorrows sunrise. The stands have been set for almost a month, the bows are tuned up and sited in, been shooting now for about 2 months. Cam pics are showing a couple good shooters. Been over 9 months since I sat in the tree with the bow and I am keyed up to get back after it!!! chased

    I can’t wait!! I’ve been hunting in Hayward the last week with hardly any sightings. It’ll be good getting back to my stomping grounds!

    The Gopher Game will keep me out of the tree tomorrow… I sure hope they WIN ! Good luck to those gettin’ out and up !!! chased

    I am heading to Evert’s resort to my camper tonight and fish tomorrow and Sunday morning. I plan to sit Sunday evening over an alfalfa field that is a hot spot now but only works for a south wind due to property line issues. Saw a shooter on it last night an hour before sunset so lets hope he continues this pattern.

    Good luck and be safe to all the MN hunters. Hopefully everyone gets to see some action (with deer) and not to contend with the wolves and wolf huggers
