I’ve had a place on Lake Belle Taine for many years and now live here. I figured the name would draw attention from folks familiar with the the lake and area.
It’s worked well and has led to many friendships!

My normal screen name “Hookmaster” was taken, I think. That name was given to me by friends because of my fishing prowess. whistling Or else because I like to fish. When I signed up here the Rapala commercials with the Extreme Net Man were running. Netman may have been taken so I chose Netguy.

Its a joking title our cops we work with like to call us. Construction materials are so cheap these days a modern home takes about ten to fifteen minutes before it’s fully involved making it extremely difficult to save houses that are less than 30 years old. Hence, saving basements. Saving lives occurs also, just not something I talk about much.

I wish it meant I was related to the Moen faucet company. The Moen clan from SW Minnesota ain’t part of that family tree.

“Flatfish” as a kid growing up(a long way from MN), we trolled walleyes in our only big local lake using either cherry bobbers or Heddon Flatfish. I still have some in my boat. We changed up the colors when we went over into Wyoming and trolled for trout, sometimes all the way out to Flaming George for trout. Mostly used
F-7’s & X-5’s…. So Flatfish it is! ( oh my name is Tim, and I’m a now retired Certified Surgical Technologist)

My name was influenced by my dad’s buddy in Air Force (SAC)
A few nicknames I have and been called often

K9Sniper – long range coyote kills
Wheels – badass defensive end until I had my knees blown out

#*%*}+#£,^} – a political correct way of stating all the nicknames my wife has for me

When girls were changing their FB names to first and middle name and excluding their last, I changed my screen name to show how annoying it was to not know who someone was by their screen name. Just happened to be watching a Pearl Jam doc and decided to use their original stage name, “Mookie Blaylock” who was also a basketball player in the 90’s.
For that last month of my FB career I must have been told how annoying it was that I was using an alias, 100 times.
In the end, FB was left behind but the name came with.

My handle here was for a long time “KwikStik” which was just a dumb take-off on Kwik Trip. Then for some reason I had to reregister and the system wouldn’t allow me to use my handle (probably too dumb sounding), so I modified it to “Kwickstck” which is equally dumb sounding. I hate picking forum names.

I just decided to use my name. Would have something cool but was not feeling creative that day and like people knowing who I am.

Nicknames I’ve had a couple. Only one really stuck and only a few old friends still call me it. Raz It was derived from my last name and maybe a softball friend that was a little tipsy and couldn’t pronounce the s.
