I appreciate the warning, and if they were younger I would be concerned, but the youngest rides the school bus for half an hour a day, and the oldest used to before he started driving.
In all seriousness though, I appreciate seeing stuff like that. Helps people make better decisions.
The articles can be long but I’m still a big fan of the Athletic. Russo for the Wild is a great writer and pretty much the only reason why I pay for it. He has great articles all year long. My favorite piece of his is when he wrote about Mark Parish’s alcohol addiction and recovery.
Imo the Athletic is a little overrated. Maybe this is nitpicky, but I’m not a fan of how miserably long most of the articles are. Its cheap the first year but jumps up in price in year 2 if you decide to keep it. That said, its better than ESPN/CNN so I’ve kept it around despite how little I actually read it.
Are you serious? This is why the Athletic is so great. They are not constrained to timelines or word limits. It really allows the writers to get into so much detail and not have to hit a timeline to get it in the paper.

Yes sir! I believe Britt Robson and Jon K (not going to try and spell it) formerly from the Trib both do. The nice thing is you can follow literally anything and everything. There is even NASCAR if you are into that.
