Just noticed on the Rapala website that the Ice Force lithium battery for flashers currently includes the charger and a digital fish scale for free. Also free shipping.
Yes, that’s still $150 for a battery but it’s the lowest I have seen it for and I just know it’s the key to eternal happiness, so I had to do it.

You must have money burning a hole in your pocket. You were ready to blow a wad on a new shelter due to drips, but upon finding a cheap fix you dropped some coin on some lithium. Way to go…now you’ll have two if Santa brings you one.

Ebay has lithiums for about 70 bucks. Got one last year and it works great.

Which specific brand of battery did you get? What was the ampere rating?
I’m very leery of batteries on ebay. I’m glad to hear you got a good one but I have heard plenty of horror stories.
Also, those batteries don’t include a charger, and their ampere ratings vary quite a bit.

I got a 4amp last year. Used the same charger I always used. Runs my Elite 5 longer than I care to fish. 60 bucks.
