Siracha chicken again tonight!!!!! yay GD I love the combo. Thanks again for the recipe.

I know some of you are wondering. Just marinate (not submerged but covered in a baggie or dish) chicken in siracha sauce for at least a few hours if not all day. We prefer legs and thighs. Grill it. Bad news is you cannot find siracha in any stores right now. Luckily we saw that coming and got plenty.

Assuming you don’t pat or rinse before cooking?

I’m a little late to the game, but was introduced to sriracha sauce about 6 months ago. An eggbake recipe we tried called for it. It has quickly become one of my favorite condiments. Now, we used Hellman’s sriracha sauce since it was the only one available at our local grocery. Is this stuff anywhere near the real deal? Or, do I need to find the genuine article. I’m going to try this chicken method sooner than later. Sounds delish!

I was introduced to Siracha around 2002 on a Boy Scout backpacking trip through Philmont in NM. I fell in love. It masked all the crappy flavors of re-hydrated food. Fast-forward to now and I even use it to dip my fish fillets in before breading.

Got chicken breasts marinading right now to do this tonight. Thanks for the idea. A side of fresh sweet corn too.

Our local HyVees had 3.7 pound packages of chicken wings on sale for $5.95 not long ago so I bought 6 packages. I think the soy sauce, honey and shiracha sounds good for a package of the wings over charcoal.

We did this yesterday. Great idea. Thank you. I doubt we’ll use straight Siracha very often if these items are handy.

The sriracha only was OK, but I will mix it up with the suggestion you had next time.

I guess I never really measured and just did it to taste – depending on if you want it to the sweeter, saltier or spicy side. If it tastes good on your finger, it will taste good on the chicken. Sriracha is really your base, the honey will give it a great sweetness but it will thicken it up. The soy is there not just for the salt but also to thin it out a bit. I bet teriyaki would also be awesome in there but I’ve never tried it. It’s all just trial and error, but you wont screw it up
