Awesome show. These unique locations and bites are far more entertaining than hearing about tactics for Mille Lacs or other popular places.

The “spot on the spot” he showed on Pool 4 is relatively well known and looks a lot like the area they used for the show from a map or satellite. However, I’ve never heard of a sauger or walleye caught there in my years fishing nearby places as there’s not much of a wintering area nearby. It’s become more and more of a marsh that’s filling in over the past decades, but panfish can stack up there in high water years. It’s also the area’s community duck hunting hole that people pack into.

Either way,I’m glad they do not use specific locations of these unique bites.
