Now I have to spend more money because of you on a new hoodie

My wife walked up to me and politely stated that the IDO Hoodie has to go. Time for retirement! Normally she just cuts them up into rags when she determines that its time, and I know better than to argue that battle. But since I go through about 2-3 Carharts in about a year, she, along with myself, has been amazed at how well these have held up. This is my primary outer shell for ice fishing, skeeter control in summer, and the daily wear spring and fall.

I think I bought the first one in Feb or March of 2013 – when they were first offered. I bought a second one off of a fellow IDO’r shortly after. Anyways, one of them was lost on a boat ride and we never recovered it. This one below has truly been put through hell. More gallons of sweat poured through it,survived countless mosquito attacks, saturated with more bug spray, blood, slime, sun screen, wind….and that list goes on. 2015 saw over 200 days of exposure alone. So yes I’m a bit jealous of seeing the staff in their pretty clean and new looking hoodies, but its nice to find a product that can stand up to the abuse I put it through.
Looking forward to you getting these back into stock so I don’t have to wear the cheap stuff – lol

BTW – I recall a post you responded to about the $70.00 price tag. I’ve burned through about a dozen carharts in the same time I have had this one hoodie. I average about 40 on the carharts depending if I get the heavy or medium weight. So this 1 $70.00 hoodie has outlasted about $480 in carharts applause applause applause applause

    $70 for a sweatshirt?!? That’s crazy!

For a light weight hoodie with a silk screened logo on it, agreed. $70 would be outrageous. But for the most expensive hoodie I’ve ever come across with a fully embroidered chest logo with applique (over $25 cost there alone!) this hoodie is a steal.

You might not agree or appreciate top quality goods. I’m betting every last person that gets the opportunity to put one on will feel their money is well spent.

And for those that find this current hoodie out of reach, we’ll be offering a lighter weight silk screened version later in the spring. It won’t, however, look or wear anything like the one offered here.

You get what you pay for plain and simple, hoodies don’t go out of style so why buy a cheap low quality one? Sadly the people that complain about the good ones being so expensive will be the same ones complaining the cheap ones don’t stand up….if you purchase bologna don’t expect filet mignon.

It’s now aged and worn to perfection, maybe worth some big bucks in a few years?
