I want to give a shout-out to John Rasmussen and Victory Auto in Ham Lake.
My 01 Silverado was exhibiting signs of the dreaded Shudder and what felt like briefly driving over rumble strips.
The guys at Victory tracked my problem down to 3 bad fuel injectors. That in itself was a lot better scenario than
Torque converter or Transmission issues that I had read about.

Ron it was great to meet you sir and honored to have you trust me with fixing your truck. Glad it worked out and happy to help another member here. His truck for an 2001 is in great shape and has a better drive train than any of the new ones. Keep driving Ron they don’t make them like that anymore.

Thanks guys, they did a remodel a couple years ago and yeah it’s pretty fancy, we even have a fireplace. Won’t argue if someone wants to bring there own beer. They won’t let me stock the customer fridge with them.

Sure feels good to find a top notch trusting shop, especially when some one you knows runs the place.

Wasn’t sure where to put this so I am just adding it to this thread. Wanted to say thanks to the members who have patronized my shop. I have had the pleasure of having my guys work on or install tires on their vehicles. So thank you to EPG, Suzuki, Rwilliam, Erik Swenson and last but not least Dutchboy. I enjoyed meeting all of you and have since had the chance to hang out with some of you more. Most of you drove past lots of shops that you could have used and I really can’t say enough how that makes me feel. Hope I didn’t leave anyone out, and look forward to helping anyone else out. Also we are a growing company and if any of you need something and are close enough to a Victory location I will go out of my way to reach out to the location manager at that location to make sure you get top notch service. Thanks again guys!

You bet, John! Victory has been a great shop when I’ve needed it even if you are on the other side of town. Holler if you’re going to be headed up towards the Bowstring area. I try to get up every other weekend or so.
