We’re headed to Minnoqua, WI this afternoon to get back on the ice. I’m guessing we’ll transition from ice to open water late March this year unless we get a cold snap soon.

Headed to St. Germaine area Thursday morning. 5 guys. Any lakes we should be hitting? Any advice would be helpful. First time ice fishing the area. Thanks to all replies.

It’s been slow for me. The pan fish are hitting just before dark and you had to work for them. They were biting light and lost a lot after hooked. The ones we did get were nice size though. I would suggest stopping at Kurts Island Baitshop in Minocqua and ask what happening. He also put out a weekly report on Tuesday its posted in fishing reports under Minocqua by Mark Benson.

Great show today from northern Wi. I fish the flowage a lot and still picked up some good tips.
