Hmmm. An interesting concept, but given that the photo shown has the center slug almost missing the target, I have to wonder about accuracy beyond 10 feet?

In the video it looked like they were trying to miss the target with the center to prove their point. Basically their shot was off target but it was still a kill shot.

In terms of a self-defense, close range option, I’m attracted to it! At the same time, what does it really accomplish that a regular shotgun round wouldn’t at close range? It only ups the game of a slug load….. which makes me wonder why you’d use a single projectile in a multi-projectile weapon? Anyway, intriguing concept.

that’s way the “Judge” revolver is so popular as a home personal defense weapon.
Now being from way West of here, I’m quite fond of reloading my own ‘Heavy-Snake-Loads’:smash instead of the usual #9 or #8 shot. Use some BB or BBB for PDefense in the home…shoot those from 15 or even 20 feet and look at that pattern. Couple shots at center mass and even the cranium gets a couple whacks. Dead is dead.
Several years ago I had a [censored] raccoon in my garage. So I drop 3 #4buck in with the #8shot, 10 feet away, smked the [censored] and also all 3 of those #4 buckshot went through the side and siding of my garage….(which reminds me, I still have yet to fix those holes)
