Speaking from personal experiance…catching ANY fish with Kevin in the boat makes you a Master Angler Whitetip!

    Thanks for sharing!

Its allways a pleasure to spend a day with a person who has that much character! The day goes by real fast & catching fish is just a bonus. Now if I could have convinced him sooner when we were pitching to fish the side of the boat that had the wingdams instead of fishing the abyss for whitebass. Of course I let him go as I new he couldnt catch fish like that on Wissota! Now I just need to convince him on getting back down there on a good P 4 bite. Making sure he leaves that aroma of a skunk home would be a blessing!

Sounds like you had a great trip If the weather is decent this Saturday deer opener I may head to pool five. Any tips you might want to share.

I did some digging around on the internet when I was looking for uses for my Winchester 452AA powder which is shotgun powder, and is rated one of the best powders when it was available years a go for pistol use. Hard to find information on some of these powders but with Google searches it is amazing what can be found.

I found a list of 53 powders for pistol use some were current and some like my shotgun powder 452AA are excellent pistol powders. I am not going to type up all 58 but will try choose some that many maybe did not realize will do double duty for pistols.

    I know what you mean.
Many years ago I re-loaded my 20ga with Blue Dot. Come to find out it is and still is for me a great pistol powder. I use it all the time for my favorite .357 load. 10.5 grains, 158gr XTP Hornady bullet….

    OH, BTW,
X700 is great as well as a pistol powder in other calibers…not just for your 12ga anymore
