At Midway USA, they suddenly got a large shipment of thier blemished bullets. Hurry! Multiple calibers, draw your own conclusions about who makes them, but 100 .223 53 gr HPBT bullets for $12 is a real deal. Lots of other calibers available.

These blemished bullets were a mainstay of the serious varmint shooters before the hoarding epidemic made everything disappear.

Yep, I maxed out with 500 each two different bullets as well, so there’s the summer varmint supply locked in. Given what I believe these bullets to be, I’m saving $10 per hundred at these prices.

Normally, I’m able to buy 500 quantities and reduce costs a little, but these days if I find any at all, it’s in 100 quantity boxes for $22-24. Yikes.

In the past, these have proved to be excellent bullets at a great price. I got tipped off that a new stock had arrived late on Saturday night and I jumped on them like an alligator on a poodle.

Still have to move pretty quickly when supples do become available. I checked last night and there’s just some scraps left. All the desireable calibers/weights sold in 2 days.

Now approaching a year since supplies disappeared. I REALLY miss the golden days of being able to walk into a reloading supply store and buy whatever I wanted. I remember seeing shelves FULL of powder. 8 pounders, 1 pounders, whatever.

    Maybe next year?

After doing some digging around I found my pistol powder is set for the rest of my life. I have a 20lb keg of Winchester 452AA which is a shot gun powder but loads pistol extremely well, had to go back to some old reloading books to find recipes. The only thing to watch is temp sensitive only in reverse, from 80 degrees to 30 degrees it will burn hotter picking up about 100 FPS.
