My daughter’s 1100 won’t eject shells which is a very common issue when the seals go. Anyone have first hand knowledge of what a gunsmith charges for replacing the seal kit, spring, and replacing the aluminum action-spring plug with a steel one? I know the kits are around $15-20plus the plug

You can easily do the seals yourself. They’re so easy even I figured out how thanks to videos are on YouTube. I bought seals online, I think they were $7 a set. Worth ordering 2 and keeping an extra set, I think.

What’s wrong with the spring that it needs replacing?

The spring itself may not be shot. However, it is part of the kit and i want the alluminum plug replaced. Lots of wear on it and if I’m going that far, why not do it all

Seals…as in the O-ring? If you need one or two, PM me. I have a bunch, and I will gladly share.

I can’t help with the rest.
