Holster Options (non-concealed)

I’m looking for some advice on holsters. Just something to stow a gun in when I’m out shooting with friends so I don’t have to set a gun down when we’re resetting targets or shooting something else. I don’t want to go overboard price-wise, but I don’t want a piece of crap, either. What are some decent options? I’d be looking for something for a Ruger GP100 5″ barrel and possibly another one that would hold a .22 auto.

Recommendations? I’ve never bought a holster before.

I found a nice holster that wasn’t very bulky and also held 2 clips for my 9mm at Cabelas. I’ll check the brand when I get home but it was only $15.

I use a nylon Uncle Mikes for my big wheel gun. To carry hunting. Cheap.

Reccomend driving to Element andbrig the gun you want to holster and try one of the bunch they have. They’ve got damn near everyone up there.

I ordered one of those for my .357 and ordered another for my .22. That way I have options.
