Hey everyone, I recently was cleaning my browning bl22 and like a dumb@$$ dropped it and the front sight smashed against a table leg and got bent out of shape. I have no idea how to remove the sight and reattach a new one but this seems like something you guys could help me with. so any help regaurding the replacement of my sight would be apreciated.

The sight is pressed into a dovetail groove on the barrel. It needs to be tapped into place – illustrated in the owners manual on page 12 of 14

Alright sweet, not trying to sound dumb but how do I actually remove and install the new sight? Thanks.

Only if your comfortable doing it. Hammer, punch, and wooden dowel. Tap the old off with a hammer and punch, lightly oil, and hammer (with the wooden dowel) the new one in. They fit tight!
