If you were to choose, which do you like better?

I’m trying to decide between these two types of rings. I think I like the tactical/square look better for my Savage Axis in black matte finish.

Anyone want to offer an opinion? I need a top mount medium height ring in 30MM, so I’m somewhat limited in my options.

Whatever one more closely resembles the lines of your gun.

Does the knew gun have a lot of rounded corners/lines or edges? Know what I mean?

Here is the gun. I’m probably going the traditional more rounded route. Although this gun a tool, not a piece of art. I fully expect it to function, not look pretty.

Looks like the 1st one will lift the scope off the gun farther and the 2nd will keep it closer to the gun. What type of clearance do you have? I bought both a high and low when I set mine up and just returned the one I didn’t use.

These are both “medium” rings. The pictures are a bit deceiving though. I went ahead and ordered the Leupold version. I can always return them if I don’t like the looks.

I like the first pic of the tactical style better, but then you got to see what I like for scope mounts. Sorry by the way for the wrong set. Got into too much of a hurry
