    Wow.

When I was a kid, I had a really fun uncle who worked as a machinist…he built a bolt-action .50. The barrel was purchased at a gun show (for a M2 Browning). The gun was machined out of stainless steel (stock and everything) and weighed close to 50 pounds. It was spot-on accurate to crazy distances…The recoil was more of a push (a big, big push) than anything punishing.

I’ll dig around and see if I can find a photo to post.

Yeah but isn’t making a 2600 yard shot worth 6.50?

Oh come on Kooty, with your bank roll, you could shoot for days until you hit that shot For me, I’m thrilled with bench shooting 800 yrds. I looked up the info on shooting that far – 50 cal – taken 3.92 seconds to reach the target, and drop 155.8 feet (47.5 m) during flight.

if the scope and rings are included. That would help a little. Sweet rifle!!
For now I’ll play with my bros AR50 from armalite. It’s cheaper and Idon’t have to pay for it!
