Buddy and I shot a lot last weekend. Sat and Sunday morning. 5 different handguns and a few rifles.

    Here are the highlights.

    1. My AR shoots like a dream for iron sights. Nothing is safe out to 100 yrds

    2. Ruger LCP uncannily accurate. Scary accurate. Dare I say the most accurate of the guns but we didnt put nearly as many rounds through it. We couldnt miss at 25 yds. I still cant believe it.

    3. I hit the gong at a 100 with every pistol! First two tries with Sig.

    4. Buddys new target .17 by Ruger with 15 power scope and thumbhole stock will pick the food out of your teeth at any range up to 100 yds! Its like a freakin laser beam.

    5. Sig Sauer 9mm is coming along nicely. Need to keep practicing but gun funtioning perfectly.

    6. My Glock 23 is still my first born baby. She’s a sweetheart.

In basic training, I loved shooting the M16 with iron sights. Having grown up on scopes, I couldn’t believe how accurate I was to 300 yards.

    Sounds like a great time!

Sounds like fun! You hit a 100 yard target with an LCP? Amazing.

Not readily repeatable. But not impossible with several shots. Eventually…

That sounds like fun. My shooting time has been too limited this summer.

Ditto on the M16….. it was harder to “see” the silhouette pop up at 300 yds, than to hit it with the rifle…
