I have been wearing my LC9 everyday for a few weeks now. Being it was very hard to find a LC9 specific holster for a left hander I bought an Uncle Mikes universal holster. So far I have been very happy with it. I have worn it with both my work boot and regular street shoe with good results. With my boot I forget it is there and with a regular shoe and it strapped to just my leg there was very little movement. It also comes with a calf strap but I haven’t used that with my boot as it doesn’t seem neccesary. I did use it with a regular shoe though. I found when I was wearing a boot with a thicker upper that my pant leg with catch on it when I was seated and when I stood the pant would not fall back down. I would have to shake my leg to have my pants sit right. While wearing my boots with a thinner upper I have no issues. There may have been no issues with jeans, but my work pants are a lighter material. The only issue I have found is with the thumb break. As it sits now in the picture I could see issues with it being trapped between the gun and my leg and it not getting unsnapped. After some practice though I’m not concerned anymore. I did move the thumb break to the outside and unsnapped it with my index finger as the hand slid onto the grip but that is not natural to me so I moved it back. I added two pics to show the holster and how you can’t see it when I’m standing.
