Oh sure, you caught a couple greenies over the weekend and now you’re going to sass Wade.

Don’t think these photos were going to fly under the radar my friend.

I’m going between the Glock 26 and the Ruger LC9. This will be used as a backup weapon while I’m working and will be an ankle carry. The only issue for me is I’m left handed and will need it on my right ankle. I can only find 1 holster for the LC9 to accomodate this. If I can’t find a good holster I’m going with the Glock because I know there are numerous out there for a right ankle carry. I think I want the LC9 more though. Anyone know of a right ankle hoster for this gun?

Curious, how did you decide what leg is better to carry on? I can’t decide what leg I want to carry on.

I want it on the inside of my leg and I’m left handed.

I’m assuming it’s more personal preference of inside vs. out?

Backup gun as in your carrying 2 sidearms?

Yes. I’m a police officer and it will be my backup.

Pretty much everyone I know says it’s more comfortable on the inside. From the limited time I’ve carried there I also found it to be the case.

I see Fleet has the Ruger on sale for $338 right now. I think me and my permit to purchase are going shopping tomorrow.

I saw that, too. Can you say tempting?

Thanks for the link Flatfish I did check it out. All I saw was leather and that might get to heavy. I think I want nylon.

I would loose whatever savings I would get with the sale driving that far.

I stopped in to Fleet today to see when they will be in. They said they just got a memo that said May or June. Now I’m watching one on gunbroker. I wonder if my raincheck is good at any fleet store?

Considering how well my LCP shoots the LC9 is probably impressive on the range.

Well I took the plung and bought an LC9 at Cabelas today I really like the way this gun fits in my hand. I have not had the chance to get out and shoot it yet I can hardly wait!!! How many guys here besides deertracker have one?

I don`t have the LC9 but do have the LCR in 38SP and Crimson Tide Lazer grips. Totally amazed how accurate this short barrel is. So light I can put in my pants pocket or shorts, and hardly know it is there.

I was thinking the same thing, I am thinking about getting a pocket holster for warm weather days when the gun can not be hidden under a shirt or jacket.

Another thing I like about the LCR is no need for a safety or having the chamber empty one les thing if God forbid I do have to use it.
