Too bad we are all so spread out. Trap league would be fun. I did it for many years but not for the last 3. I miss it.

Yeah, that would be fun. I’ve got a few guys at work that might get together if we can all find the time.

Well, my search has come to an end. Thanks to TheFamousGrouse, I’ve got a new-to-me Remington 1100

And thank you for freeing up a little space in the safe. As short lived as that may be because I accidentially ordered a new Savage .223. You know how it is. . .

I’m very happy to move the 1100 along to someone who will shoot it. I loved it as a phesant gun, but I’m just too addicted to a whole raft of 20 gauges that I’ve aquired and it simply did not get the use it deserved.

The last few years I participated we didnt even consider competing. It was just nice to set aside one evening a week to get together with the guys. Shoot a round then have a few beers. Plus it puts a gun in your hand often. Nothing keeps you shooting sharp like shooting.

I remember one night buddy pulls his shotgun out of the truck and noticed it has rust. He then pulled out his dipstick for a dose of motor oil to rub all over gun! That was fun. We shot out of North Hudson.
