I didnt even know they made one until I handled my friends last night. WOW! High quality with nice scope. Seems like it would be awsome. Anyone know anyting about them? I cant imagine getting a Remington slug gun after holding it.

I stumbled across this slug gun a few weeks ago and its definetly on my wish list!

I’d really like to shoot one equipped with that new 1.25″x4.0″ Leupold Firedot scope.

That combination right there has me thinking of selling my .300 Win Mag, as that gun could probably do just about anything you’d need it to here in the Midwest:o

The only thing I’ve heard is you have to watch your scope mounts on this gun and the Savage Slug Bolt Gun. If you have to low of rings, there isn’t enough room for the shells to eject when you work the action.

Other than that, I’ve heard they are tack drivers!

My nephew has been shooting one since they first came out about 8 years ago?

The most incredible gun I’ve shot for shooting slugs.
    No different than a rifle.

    Smooth,
    crisp,
    tight

As for accuracy, I would not hesitate to shoot a deer at 250+ yards with his gun, given the opportunity. The gun will do it consistently with an acceptable MOA.

I’ve got my 870 with Hastings 24″ cantilever barrel and will shoot without hesitation to 200 yards. But that bolt action is the cat’s meow and again, I would NOT hesitate at a 250 yard shot!

Sweet!!! That is exactly how it felt to me. Like a fine rifle.

For half the price and same accuracy I would go with the savage. I have over 1200.00 into my slug gun, and I have two friends with savages and they shoot as good or better then mine.
