Custom Barrels

Curious who you may have had cut a custom barrel for you. I’m building a 7mm-RUM, and want to consider other barrel makers before placing an order.

Did you check whistle pig?

Jeff, is that who built your rifles?

I usually work on my own stuff but when it gets real technical, I turn to Jim See of Center Shot. He recently broke down my Barrett for a accuracy upgrade check and cut, threaded and re-crowned the barrel for my suppresser when my stamp shows up soon. I also picked up one of his muzzle breaks for the Barrett for when I’m not using the can, there’s a big difference in the new break versus the Barrett factory when shooting the 338 Lapua Mag.

He’s doing a 260 build for my son this winter, His work is unreal when it comes to accuracy in either F class or tactical events. I have been drooling over some of his long range tactical / hunting builds as well.

I’d love to drop coin on the Surgeon rifles. Those are damn nice. I’m waiting on a stamp too now that I’m a Wi. resident. Thinking of making a trip there to check the shop out sometime thanks to your info. My .22 is first though!
