I gotta feeling this is going to be a race on two different brands of guns. But was wondering what everyone’s shooting and some feedback on them I’m thinking about getting me a new one this year.

if you want strictly a muzzle loader get a CVA or a TC with a stainless barrel, break action, and a good breech plug.

I own a TC encore pro hunter. When i was shopping i just picked up all of them and shouldered them. The TC was by far the most comfortable gun.

If you want to shoot it let me know we can meet up, i could prob sweet talk pool5hunter into bringing his CVA and you could try shooting both of them.

    I love my TC

X2 I have had a TC Omega for about six years, this year I bought a TC Pro Hunterâ„¢ FX .50 Caliber Muzzleloader, I love the feel of this gun. I live a mile from the Rochester sportsmen club if you would like to shoot them sometime give me a shout.

I have yet to shoot an inline muzzle loader that was not “accurate”. I am no sharpshooter, but I can keep a pretty tight group at 50 yards, and a respectable group at 75 with open sights with any muzzle loader I have ever shot. The biggest difference I have noticed is the fit of the TC’s over most other gun makers. I bought a TC impact for about $215 when it first came out and have not looked back. Its cheap, but it shoots very, very straight. I also like some of the upper end CVA’s. For quality products, it is pretty tough to beat TC. I am in the winona area if you ever want to shoot!
