I’ve got to give praise to these targets. Last year, CCI had a deal where if you bought two boxes of ammo, you could get a free Champion Duraseal spinner gopher target. I was thinking of buying one anyways, so I sent in and got one.
I have pelted that thing with a lot of .22 shots, and it has held up very well. Yesterday, my brother-in-law and I had a shooting day. We shot that dang gopher with .22s, .17 HMRs, .38 specials, .357 magnums, a shotgun, and an SKS rifle, all from about 15 yards, and the gopher is still kicking! We were both thoroughly impressed.
If you’re looking for a cheap, fun target that will take an absolute beating, check one out!

Here’s the carnage. I would recommend not using hollow points. They tended to punch bigger holes.

That is one tough gopher! Thanks for sharing.

I shout also mention that the metal legs have been shot (just bent them back straight) and the counterweight got shot off with a .357 mag (you can barely see a mark from it on the left side). I just picked it up and put it back on!

I like mine but just used 22 on it myself. Now I might try the AR15

Hell, I would! You’re not out much if it ruins it, and I think it’ll hold up pretty well.
