I am in total agreement with you about to NOT rely on the (red)laser sights. If your always in doors, fine, outdoors, forget about it. Go ‘green laser lite’ if you must for outdoors. But knowing how to sight your weapon and shoot with out laser will make you a better shot, hands down IMHO….

I have a red laser on a 9mm, but I shoot it more with out the laser than with it.

We might be going off subject here a bit…but it’s not the first time.

I can’t speak about green lasers, but red work well in all but the middle of the day on bright days.

I use mine for training myself and others. Using a triple checked empty chamber, I’ll squeeze the trigger and watch the dot as the pin drops. Excellent way to catch flinch!

Normally the laser is used..I’ll put tape over it to force myself to shoot without it. For me, it makes the difference of knowing where my round is going before I’m into the Weaver position.

The purpose of my carry gun is not for target practice.

I was happy with my LCP first time shooting Sat. Went through a whole box with no malfunctions/jams. Shot more accurately than I though it would however it is tiny and hard to get a good grip. I just found a site that sells extended magazine caps giving you an extra finger and an extra round. http://www.impactguns.com/store/index.html
That will help but I still need a prodcuct that will add some bulk to the back of the handle to get my finger further away from the trigger. I was think some slide on rubber things. Anyone have any ideas where I can find something like that?
