I am looking for a 357 revolver double action at least a 6 inch barrel. What do you think about the Ruger GP100? Not looking for anything fancy as long as it goes bang when the trigger is pulled, low maintenance to no maintenance and cheap.

    I have a s/s Smith&Wesson 626 in .357. Love it! Very solid for around $400-$450

I have a Gp100 and it shoots great, mine is stainless in .357, bought it for bear hunting as a back up but shoot it regularly at the range with .38 specials which are cheaper and dot kick as much for lots of shooting, Great Gun

Found a blue GP 100 6 inch barrel, locked down the cylinder seems to be tight, cylinder and barrel line up great, barrel and cylinder look clean and smooth. and shows very little use for $325. How do you feel about the price?

Nice gun. I have one in my sights when my bonus check comes through.
