Sounds like a great day for you and your son I would have made it over this weekend, but it is graduation time. Plan on being over on the lake lake monday and possibly tuesday. Might try P10 on tuesday

Thanx for the report and teaching C-P-R

It was a great day on the water! I usually go on week days to skip the weekend traffic. For a Friday….it was extrememly busy. I put in by the Marina…and had a guy tell me that Mcintosh was full. It looked full when I tooled around back there by Ventura. Anyway…plenty of room to have fun.

I went with Nikons Slughunter 3×9. Was hesitant being it’s a bdc reticle but found I really like it. A Nikon Prostaff w/nikoplex reticle would get the same vote.

The Nikon Prostaff is a nice scope. I’ve got a 2-7 on my 11-87, and a 3-9 on my TC Omega. Very good scopes for the price, never had a problem with them.

Ive been thinking of getting the nikon slug hunter. Ive kind of shyed away because I was worried the BDC would not match up to the slugs I was shooting. How close is it for those of You who have them and what slug are you shooting?
